1: Uuuh Peter Pan

9: Uuuh, I don’t know. I don’t really measure books. But I DO hate The Great Gatsby.

11: I should read more and different things that aren’t as comfortable. I really should so recommendations are great.

53: I thought i would read the first Hunger Games out of curiosity to see what the fuss was about and then forget about it. Nope.

So I found a story I wrote when I was 7

and by story I mean a loosely written paragraph that went like this:

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. She traveled around the world. One day she met two people. They were adults. the little girl gave them a hug and said, “I’ll be your child!” The small family went to the grandparents home. And she lived with them till she was in college. Soon she came back to the couple to be their child. And for the rest of her life, she celebrated her birthdays with them forever!

#Jennifer Lawrence
I'm glad the Hunger Games

didn’t get white washed. I really am.

And I think people who freak out about the colors or the race in whatever way need to get over it. So what if they don’t look exactly how you pictured it? It’s a movie version. and I’m glad that one the biggest franchises is celebrating differences like that and not making it an issue. I’m also glad that Katniss is a strong womanly figure who isn’t objectified.

And I really do think Rue was absolutely perfect. So anyone who says differently can suck it. Amandla was adorable.
