I HAVE to say (as random as this may be) that the monologue that JGL delivered as John Blake towards the beginning of Dark Knight Rises gets me every single time. It’s absolutely true. Every single word of it. the delivery was pitch perfect and the words were raw and powerful and it helped voice something that I’ve been feeling (not fully to that extent of course) for 5 years now. And it was beautiful and I’m still really thankful to  the Nolans for writing it.
